Photos of Prague

Travel Holiday Magazine refers to
Prague as the most beautiful city in the world. It is a knock-your-socks-off
gorgeous city of architectural wonders and pastel colors. Pictures,
unfortunately, just don't do it justice. |

Tyn Church in the Old Town Square (Stare Mesto) is one of
Prague's most important landmarks and dominates the skyline. |
Top, the same square shown in the large photo to the left.
The statue is Jan Huss, an early Reformationist.
Below, some of the many pastel buildings in the Stare Mesto district. |

Golden Lane is an enchanting street of
minihouses in the grounds of Prague Castle. These tiny houses were built in
the 16th century for the castle gunners. |
The Jewish cemetery has nearly 12,000 graves up
to 12 deep. Tombstones had to be moved every time a layer was added. The
cemetery was open from 1439 to 1787. |
